Tattoo Aftercare

Treat your new tattoo like a fresh wound—because it is. Proper care keeps it looking good for years to come.

-
Leave the bandage on for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
-
Wash your hands, then gently clean the tattoo with warm water and mild soap. Pat dry—don’t rub.
-
Apply a thin layer of ointment (Aquaphor or tattoo aftercare) 2–3 times daily—just enough to keep it from drying.
-
Don’t pick, scratch, or soak. No baths, pools, or hot tubs for at least one week.
Healing time:
Surface healing takes 7–14 days. Full healing may take up to three weeks.
Piercing Aftercare

Cleanliness and patience is key.

-
Clean twice daily with saline. No alcohol, peroxide, or ointments.
-
Hands off. Always wash before touching; don’t twist the jewelry.
-
Avoid irritants like makeup or pressure from sleeping on it.
-
Don’t change jewelry too soon. Ask your piercer if unsure.
